EARLY LIFE...
Walt Disney (Walter Elias Disney), born December 5th 1901, was an animator, voice actor, film producer, and entrepreneur. Disney was one of five children. At a young age, he began drawing, painting, and selling pictures to his friends, family, and neighbors. After discovering his love for trains, he worked a summer job selling snacks and newspapers on the railroad. He was his high schools cartoonist for the school paper and took drawing and photography there as well. He then set out to pursue a career as a newspaper artist, and then worked for a company where he made commercials with cutout animation. From there he decided to open his own animation business. |
